Overview

Expendy is built with privacy at its core. We collect minimal data and your expense information stays on your device.

Data Collection

Expendy stores your expense data locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not collect, transmit, or store your financial data on any server.

Voice data: Speech recognition is processed on-device using Apple's Speech framework. Audio is not stored or transmitted to third-party servers.
Expense data: All expenses, budgets, and recurring expense configurations are stored locally on your device.
Account data: If you use optional cloud sync (Supabase), your email and encrypted data are stored securely.

Third-Party Services

Expendy may use the following third-party services:

Apple StoreKit: For in-app subscription management.
Apple Speech Recognition: For on-device voice-to-text conversion.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. Period.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the app. All locally stored data will be removed.

Children's Privacy

Expendy does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
